New Delhi: A double header match will be played in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) on Sunday (April 23). The first match will be between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) from 3.30 pm. This match will be played at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. In this match, RCB will land on their home ground wearing green jersey. 

Its specialty is that this jersey has been made (recycled) from the waste found in the stadium. This RCB team of Kohli must play one match every year in green jersey on the home ground. This tradition of Bangalore playing one home match every year wearing green jersey continues since 2011. This team competes in green jersey every year for the awareness of clean and green environment. Bangalore will also restore two lakes in South Bengaluru, which are spread over 44 acres, in its mission this year.

RCB Vice President and Chief Rajesh Menon has said, 'As part of our year-long commitment, we are rejuvenating and renovating the lakes of this city along with achieving zero carbon emissions with the people. These lakes were once considered the pride of the city of Bangalore.'
