New Delhi: Did you know that a sentence is written in Sanskrit on the glittering trophy of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and what does it mean? In fact, IPL 2023 has now reached its final stage and one of the two teams that reach the final this season will be the winner of the 16th season of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) or Gujarat Titans (GT). While Chennai has a chance to win the trophy for the 5th time, defending champion Gujarat has a great chance of becoming the champion for the second time in a row.

Now let's talk about what is written in Sanskrit on this trophy? Actually, this trophy has 'Yatra Pratibha Avatara Prapti' written in Sanskrit, which in Hindi means 'where talent gets an opportunity'. This sentence suits the IPL well because here talented players get plenty of opportunities to show their talent. The final match of IPL 2023 was scheduled to be held on Sunday (May 28) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, but due to heavy rains, it was canceled and now it will be played today i.e. on June 29 on reserve day.

This is the first time in IPL history that a final match will be played on a reserve day. The winner will get Rs 20 crore, while the runners-up will get Rs 13 crore, while Mumbai Indians will get Rs 7 crore and Lucknow Super Giants will get Rs 6.5 crore.
