According to the media report, a letter written by ADG Jasvir Singh to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also appeared. In a letter sent to the Chief Minister on January 2, he has demanded an independent investigation into the alleged corruption on the 5 IPS officers, citing media reports. Jasvir Singh has also questioned the posting of the accused officers in the districts, saying that the officials can influence the investigation by misusing the post. In the corruption case, a separate FIR has been lodged against the officials concerned and its constitution has been constituted by an independent agency.
