Ayodhya: Babri Masjid plaintiff Iqbal Ansari has requested the CBI Special Court hearing the mosque demolition case that all the accused in the case should be acquitted. The CBI Special Court will pronounce verdict on September 30 and the accused include leaders like L.K. Advani, Dr Murli Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharti, Kalyan Singh and Vinay Katiyar.

Ansari has said that the apex court has already given its verdict on the dispute and the process of temple construction has also started. He said, "Many accused persons in the Babri demolition case are no longer alive and those who are present have become very old. I want this matter to be concluded and it should be closed now. In any case, there is no dispute left after the Supreme Court judgement."

Ansari further said that "Hindus and Muslims should be allowed to live together in harmony and empower the social fabric of the country". The entire debate in the demolition case is now complete and the verdict will be pronounced on September 30. The CBI Special Court will pronounce its verdict on September 30 in the 27-year-old case.
