Washington: Jake Sullivan  the national security adviser for the White House. alleges As Russia's invasion of Ukraine enters its fifth month, Iran is thought to be giving the country several hundred unmanned aerial vehicles or drones.
According to Sullivan, Iran is getting ready to instruct Russian forces on how to use the drones in its ongoing conflict with Ukraine. However, President Biden's top national security advisor added that it was also uncertain whether Iran had actually delivered the drones to Russia or had given Russian troops training. As the war drags on and Russia continues to advance in Ukraine Sullivan's disclosure of fresh intelligence which Biden, the US, and other Western democracies have used to great effect against Putin and Russia comes to light. However, Russia has fallen far short of its original objective, which was to invade and conquer Ukraine in a matter of weeks after its launch at the end of February.  He also stated that "When you step back and consider how this conflict has developed, Vladimir Putin has fallen short of his goals"

The Biden administration has dubbed the rise in energy prices as Putin hikes the price  but public support for the United States' participation in defending Ukraine against the invasion has waned somewhat as the war has continued. About 60% of Americans continue to support defending Ukraine despite the fact that doing so will increase inflation and energy costs.

On both sides of the conflict in Ukraine, drones have been instrumental in carrying out a variety of tasks, such as firing missiles from a distance, dropping small bombs on targets, and conducting reconnaissance for artillery forces and ground troops. The US and other allies have given Kyiv a variety of smaller drones, and Ukrainian forces have used armed combat UAVs made in Turkey called Bayraktar with particular success.

The Ukrainian army has issued a warning that Russian forces are likely planning to launch some of their heaviest attacks yet in the Donetsk region, despite fierce Ukrainian resistance that has been emboldened by recent deliveries of western-supplied artillery.
