Railways have started the lockdown of 15 passenger trains. These 15 trains are running from New Delhi to Dibrugarh, Agartala, Howrah, Patna, Bilaspur, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Secunderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Madgaon, Mumbai Central, Ahmedabad and Jammu Tawi. All these trains will also come back, that is, 30 trains have been started at the moment. Rajdhani train fare is being charged in all these trains, although the fee for Tatkal and Premium Tatkal is not applicable at the moment, the Dynamic Fair is definitely being implemented i.e. the fare will increase with the passage of time. IRCTC's website and Rail Connect app are looking for the next seven days.

Railways have also put some conditions regarding travel in these 30 trains. The passengers themselves will be responsible for their health during the journey. Use a face mask, maintain social distancing and wash your hands frequently. All travellers are informed that the Arogya Setu app should be downloaded on their mobile phones. All travellers please note that upon arriving at their destination, the travelling passengers will have to follow such health protocols as prescribed by the destination state/union territory.

Travel catering service is not available and catering fee is not included in the fare. No blankets and sheets will be provided in the train. Passengers are requested to report to the station at least 90 minutes before the train's scheduled departure. COVID Dry Ready to Eat Meal and Packaged Drinking Water will be available on payment in special trains under 19. Cancellation of the confirmed ticket will attract a 50% cancellation charge. Only passengers can book. Booking is closed for the agent.
