Honor X10 is all set to go official in China on 20 May. Along with this, the phone is expected to be announced at a launch event where the company can also make some other announcements. Prior to launch, the price and variants of the smartphone have leaked online. According to the new leaks, Honor X10 will be made available in four variants based on memory configuration. The leaks suggest that the phone will start retailing at 2,299 yuan for a 4GB RAM + 128GB storage option. The phone's 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant will be available for 2,599 yuan. Two variants will be available with 8 GB RAM, in which the first will sport 128 GB storage and a price tag of 2,899 yuan. The highest version of Honor X10 will come with 256GB storage and a price tag of 3,199 yuan. There is no information when the phone can make its way in India.
When it is finally done, expect the price for the Chinese market to be very different from what is being said. Talking about the specifics of the device reports in China, it has been claimed that the Honor X10 can be powered by the Kirin 820 5G SoC and packs a 4,200mAh battery. On the outside, the phone is said to sport a larger display - 6.63-inch in size - and overall keep the phone slimmer with its 8.8mm thickness. The phone appears to have made its way onto the Chinese certification website, TENAA and is also said to appear on the country's MIIT certification website with the same permit number.
The phone features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and comes with 22.5W fast-charging support. The handset is expected to run Android 10 OS with the company's custom skin. For cameras, it can achieve at least triple camera set-up on the back. The phone can measure 163.7x76.5x8.8 mm. If you're confused about the name, Honor reportedly decided against calling the device 10X so as to avoid confusion with the upcoming Redmi 10X. According to reports, the company is also working on a more powerful version of Honor X10. Rumors also claim that it will be powered by Kirin 985 SoC and will also have 5G connectivity.
