The critically acclaimed actor Irrfan Khan has been away from the silver screen for over a year now. The Pan Singh Tomar actor was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer, the actor went to London for the treatment. soon as the news of his return surfaced, a few reports suggested that the actor was further being treated at the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai.

Tigmanshu Dhulia, who directed Irrfan in Paan Singh Tomar, has given a health update about Irrfan Khan. And the good news is that Irrfan Khan is perfectly fine now. In an interview with Deccan Chronicle, Tigmanshu said, "I did meet him after he returned to India. He is perfectly fine now. Irrfan told me that he will begin shooting for Hindi Medium franchise soon."

 Earlier when the actor had just returned to India, producer Dinesh Vijan of Hindi Medium had said that they would get clarity about Hindi Medium 2 in a month or so. Tigmanshu also said. "We will do a film soon. Actually, we were in the process of writing one for him. Probably, if everything goes well, we shall be making the film soon,” he adds, refusing to divulge any more details.

After this good news fans  are eagerly waiting for the actor to come back to the silver screen again.
