The two biggies of the Tamil film industry, the superstar Rajnikanth and actor, director Kamal Haasan are expected to join hands for political pursuits. Actor and director Kamal Haasan subtly hinted at a possible collaboration between the two for political pursuits in an interview to a magazine. Kamal said, “Joining hands with Rajnikanth is not a decision that has to be taken now. Only time can answer that. In fact, both of us have to think on whether to have a political alliance and whether our (different) policies would enable that.” The remark has posed a dilemma in front of the public and only time will reveal the plans the stars have in their mind.

When asked the same, Rajnikanth continued the suspense with his statement, “Only time will tell” The probable alliance is being termed as an Aryan-Dravidian ideology alliance by an analyst as Rajnikanth is an Aryan and Kamal Haasan is a Dravidian.

While the ideologies followed by both the stars is different, a credible source claims they can join hands for their common aim of improving the political system in the state. However, the source denied any possible alliance of Rajnikanth with Bhartiya Janta Party.

All we can do is reiterate Rajnikanth’s statement “Only time will tell” and wait.
