According to a news paper in New Delhi, Facebook is working on a smartphone these days. Some cyber detectives have taken some important Facebook documents, without which this claim is being made. 

A Facebook unit working on the hardware has filed a petition in January for patents for a 'Modular Electromechanical Device'. This device can have speakers, cameras, microphones, touchscreen, and displays. 

The summary of this petition submitted to the US Patent Officers states, "A user modulator can change according to various functional modules in the electromagnetic device's functional device."

But Facebook has always dismissed these things as a rumor. Facebook has refused to respond to this story too.
