There has been a clash with the police regarding this. The police stopped the central team that had reached Shrirampur itself to find out the reasons for the violence there. According to sources, the members of the fact-finding team were staying in a hotel in Kolkata. From here, he directly left for Risda, but before entering Risda, the police stopped his convoy at Bangihati Delhi Road in Shrirampur and asked him to return. In such a situation, the question arises: is Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee trying to hide the real reasons for the violence? Because without the permission of CM Banerjee, how could the police stop the central team?

Let us inform you that a 6-member Delhi delegation was going to talk to the victims of violence on Saturday, April 7. They have to report there to the central government. After being stopped by the police, the members of the Fact Finding Committee had a heated argument with the police. However, the members of the delegation raised questions as to why they were not being allowed to visit the violence-hit area. They want to roam around the area and talk to people to gather some information. After that, he will also discuss with the Chandan Nagar Police Commissioner. However, it has been clarified by the police that Section 144 is still applicable in that area. In such a situation, if the members of the fact-finding team go there, a crowd may gather there and Section 144 may be violated, so at present they are not being allowed to go there.

At the same time, the members of the fact-finding team have said that they have already told the police that they are coming to Risda. A letter was also sent to the Police Commissioner in this regard, and even after that, he is not being allowed to go to the violence-affected area. Let us tell you that, after the violence, CM Mamata Banerjee said that Muslims cannot do any wrong in the month of Ramzan; only the processionists entered the Muslim area with their procession and raised objectionable slogans, which incited the violence. After this statement by Mamta, similar news also appeared in the media. However, videos of people pelting stones at the procession have appeared on social media. It is also worth noting that, on the one hand, Mamta Banerjee is asking why the processionists entered the Muslim area, while the Calcutta High Court says that the procession was taken out along the route decided by the Bengal Police. This begs the question: if there was an apprehension of violence in a Muslim area, why did the police give permission to take the procession out of there? And what were those objectionable slogans that the police did not hear, or even after hearing, did not stop the protestors? Even if the slogans were objectionable, the people of the Muslim community could have complained to the police; why did they pelt stones at the procession?
