Talking to a famous website, when Bhushan Kumar was asked about the plans to release the film 'Adipurush' on Diwali, the producer said, "We have not yet fixed the release date for 'Adipurush'. Once the decision is taken, we will announce it. The rest of the films have already been announced for the Diwali weekend. So we're looking for a perfect date, too. '

Adipurush is being touted as one of the most expensive Indian films of all time. Prabhas will be seen playing the role of Lord Ram in this film, while Saif Ali Khan will be seen as Ravan.
