JAMSHEDPUR: Odisha FC beat Jamshedpur FC 3-2 in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2022-23 on Tuesday at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur. Odisha FC scored two goals in the last few minutes of the game.

Daniel Chukwu and Boris Singh scored for the home team in the first ten minutes, giving them a two-goal lead. Then, Diego Mauricio scored twice, including the game-winner, and Isaac Chhakchhuak, who came on as a sub, scored to give the Juggernauts all three points.

Even though it rained so hard that the game couldn't start right away, Jamshedpur FC didn't let it get them down, and they scored after only three minutes. Thoiba Singh blocked Ricky Lallawmawma's low cross from the left flank, but Daniel Chukwu got the rebound and smashed the ball into the goal with his left foot.

In the tenth minute, The Red Miners scored their second goal, giving them a two-goal lead. Again, Lallawmawma played a low cross from the left side of the field. This time, it was Boris Singh who got the ball and put it in at the far post with a tap-in.

Seven minutes later, the Juggernauts made up the difference. Near the edge of the box, Raynier Fernandes passed the ball to Diego Mauricio. Before the Brazilian curled and tucked his shot inside the far post, he was given too much room.

Farukh Choudhary ran down the left side, and Wellington Priori got the ball when he crossed it. Amrinder Singh did a great job of stopping the Brazilian's shot. Minutes later, Jerry Mawihmingthanga came in from the right side of the box, took the ball with his left foot, and came within inches of curling it into the top left corner.

In the 67th minute, Pedro Martin was up against TP Rehenesh one-on-one while the JFC defence looked for the offside flag. The Jamshedpur FC goalkeeper made a great save on the Spanish substitute's shot.

Then, with two minutes left in regular time, the score was tied. Isak Vanlalruatfela and Isaac Chhakchhuak, two substitutes for Odisha FC, worked well together on the right flank. Vanlalruatfela passed it back to Chhakchhuak, who smashed it into the back of the net.

In the last few seconds of the second half, the comeback was complete. Vanlalruatfela was again a part of the move. The 21-year-old sent a perfect pass to Mauricio, who then scored Odisha FC's winning goal with his second goal of the night.

In their next games, The Juggernauts and The Red Miners will both go to the West coast to play Mumbai City FC on different dates. On October 15, the Islanders will host Odisha FC, and on October 22, they will welcome Jamshedpur FC.
