NEW DELHI:  India has won the toss and elected to bowl first against David Miller-led South Africa in the ODI series decider at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Tuesday.

The series will be decided by Tuesday's winner of the remaining two games, which are now tied at one each. Due to the wet outfield, the game will start 30 minutes later than scheduled at 2 pm, especially after the past three to four days of heavy rain in New Delhi.

For India, a win in New Delhi would prolong their winning streak in the ODI format, which started after they coincidentally lost a three-match series in South Africa earlier this year. New Delhi last hosted an ODI match three years ago. After winning the second ODI at Ranchi on Sunday by seven wickets, the hosts evened the series thanks to Shreyas Iyer's 113 and Ishan Kishan's 93.

David Miller, a left-handed hitter for South Africa, makes his ODI debut as captain.
