Israel strikes the Jabalia refugee camp, killing ninety people in the live Israel-Hamas battle. According to reports in Israeli media, the head of Mossad has been given the go-ahead to resume talks with mediators.

This is in response to allegations that David Barnea will be visiting Europe in the next two days to meet for the second time in less than a week with Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the prime minister of Qatar.

At a medical facility in Jabalia al-Balad, our colleague Anas Shareef has met with Gaza residents looking for refuge and medical attention. A large number of them are kids and women.
An "immediate ceasefire" is demanded by a medical specialist at the hospital, who claimed that the healthcare system in northern Gaza had failed.

"The medical staff is worn out. It's a disastrous situation. A genocide is happening right now.

The father of one of the three prisoners that Israeli soldiers erroneously killed in northern Gaza, Avi Shamriz, has charged that the soldier who opened fire on them knew exactly what he was doing.

Israeli media quoted Shamriz as stating, "It was clear that he knew who he was dealing with."

Alon Shamriz, along with two other captives, was killed after more than two months of being held by Hamas fighters, as he moved towards the soldiers shirtless and waving a white cloth.
The incident triggered fury and condemnation among the families of the remaining captives, reigniting calls for the war cabinet to spell out a clear plan for their release.
