In a series of recent nighttime operations across the occupied West Bank, Israeli security forces have detained several Palestinians, with a notable focus on women activists, including university students and a prominent writer and political analyst. The raids have sparked concern and condemnation, as they continue to be a nightly occurrence.

The city of Hebron, situated in the southern West Bank, saw a significant number of arrests in these operations. Of particular interest were the apprehensions of female activists, including university students and a renowned political analyst.

Further north in the occupied West Bank, the city of Nablus also witnessed Israeli forces conducting raids, resulting in at least three arrests. Videos captured armored vehicles entering the city, raising tensions in the region.

In the vicinity of Ramallah, the sound of what appeared to be sound grenades reverberated in the distance, signaling unrest in nearby villages. At least three arrests were reported in Ramallah.

This ongoing campaign by Israeli security forces has become a nightly routine in the occupied West Bank. The operations involve heavily armed soldiers, who have been seen storming various neighborhoods and villages, targeting Palestinian residents.

Separate reports indicate that early on Thursday, Israeli raids were carried out in the Palestinian village of Beit Kahil, north of Hebron, and in Nablus, intensifying the pressure on Palestinian communities.

Meanwhile, in a call between U.S. President Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, discussions centered on a "pathway for a permanent peace" following the "current crisis." The White House released a brief summary of their conversation, which also touched on ongoing efforts to locate and secure captives held by Hamas and provide safe passage for foreign nationals wishing to depart Gaza promptly.

The situation in the occupied West Bank remains fluid and continues to be a focal point of concern both regionally and internationally.
