Despite an International Court of Justice ruling urging action to prevent genocide, Israel has escalated bombings in Gaza.

In a significant interim decision, the court recognized jurisdiction in South Africa's genocide case against Israel but didn't mandate a ceasefire.

Southern Gaza's healthcare facilities remain under attack, with Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis losing power entirely. Three casualties were reported in Rafah due to a residential home strike.

The toll rises: Over 26,000 killed and 64,000 wounded in Israeli attacks since October 7, with 1,139 deaths in Israel from Hamas attacks.

Hezbollah, the militant group, confirmed that four of its members were killed in an IDF airstrike in southern Lebanon, as reported by Hebrew media.

The strike followed several rocket launches from Lebanese territory into Arab al-Aramshe in northern Israel. Thankfully, there were no casualties reported. In response, Israeli forces targeted the origin points of the rockets.

Rocket sirens were activated in kibbutz Adamit and Moshav Zar'it, heightening tensions in the region.

There were initial concerns of a security breach at the Israel-Lebanon border, with reports of gunfire exchanged. However, these concerns were later dismissed.

The IDF conducted airstrikes on two Hezbollah operational sites in the village of Beit Leaf and a military structure in the village of Deir Aames.

Italy Cuts UNRWA Funding Amid Allegations

Joining other allies, Italy slashed funding to UNRWA, the key aid agency for Palestinians in Gaza, citing Israeli allegations of UNRWA staff involvement in the October 7 attack.

Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani emphasized commitment to Palestinian humanitarian aid while safeguarding Israel's security interests.

Following Israel's claim, the US, Canada, and Australia also halted funding, prompting UNRWA to dismiss several staff members and launch an investigation.
