ISRO to launch India's heaviest rocket, will carry 36 UK satellites

New Delhi: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is set to launch its heaviest rocket a day before Diwali, the country's premier festival. With this rocket, the satellite of British start-up company OneWeb will be launched into space. This satellite is going to provide an internet facility from space. India's Bharti Enterprise Company is a shareholder in this company, Airtel is also a product of this company. 

ISRO's rocket is named Launch Vehicle Mark-3 (LVM3), which was earlier known as Geosynchronous Launch Vehicle Mark-3 (GSLV Mk III). In this rocket, 36 satellites of the British company's OneWeb are going. ISRO's operation is LVM3-M2/OneWeb India-1 Mission. The launch will take place from the spaceport of Sriharikota at 7 am on October 23, 2022. ISRO officials have informed that the cryo stage and equipment bay assembly of the rocket has been completed. The satellites have been placed in the upper part of the rocket and now the final investigation is being done. 

Let us know that ISRO has a deal with OneWeb. They will do two such launches. That is, after the launch on October 23, another launch will be accomplished. Which is believed to ensue in January next year. These satellites will be deployed in low earth orbit. These are broadband communication satellites. Whose name is OneWeb Leo. This is the first commercial flight of the LVM3 rocket.
