The Indian Space Research Organization is once again giving excellent opportunities to students studying in various schools in the country. ISRO is launching the second edition of its Young Scientist Program (2020), also known as the Young Scientist Program. What is the Young Scientist Program - This program has been started by ISRO for children studying in schools. Students who are studying in class 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th can participate in this. It is a training program that is conducted during the summer holidays. Its duration is 2 weeks.

During this time, students are given information about ISRO's works, scientific research, rocket and space science. How to participate- Students wishing to participate in this program will have to apply. They have to put their school certificates in the application. Students are selected on the basis of academic performance. Three students are selected from each state / union territory. Students studying in CBSE, ICSE or state boards can apply for this, although candidates from rural areas are given preference in selection.

When will applications be made, when training- According to the official notification, the process of application for ISRO Young Scientist Program 2020 is starting from 3 February 2020. Students have the opportunity to apply by 24 February 2020. The provisional merit list of the selected students will be released by 2 March 2020. Thereafter they may have to upload copies of the stated documents by 23 March 2020. The final list of selected students can be released by the end of March. The Young Scientist Program 2020 will be held from 11 May to 22 May 2020.
