Actress Tunisha Sharma allegedly died by suicide on 24th December. The actress hanged herself on the set of a serial in Vasai in Maharashtra's Palghar district. The 20-year-old went to the washroom on the set and did not return for a long time. When the door was broken down, she was found hanging inside. Sheezan Mohammed Khan, Co-star of actor Tunisha Sharma was arrested after a case of abutment to suicide was registered against him.
In a recent interview, Tunisha Sharma’s mother said, "It could be a suicide or a murder. I say this because Sheezan took her to a hospital far away. There were hospitals 5 minutes from the set. Why not take her to a closer one? She was breathing and could have been saved." Tunisha’s mother further speaking about her relationship with her daughter said, "My relationship with her was very good. She didn't live without me or sleep without me.”
She added, “I have a voice message from her that she sent me on December 21. I want to play it for you (plays Tunisha's voice message). Sheezan's mother won't tell me about my relationship with her (Tunisha). I don't need to explain to anyone since I've dedicated my life to Tunisha." In the voice message Tunisha heard saying, "Mama, I can't tell you how much I love you. I love you. What you do for me sometimes, I really love you. Thank you. I'll come home soon and sleep with you. Ok?"
On the career front Tunisha started working with ‘Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap’ and later featured in shows such as ‘Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat’, ‘Gabbar Poonchwala’, ‘Sher-e-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh’, ‘Internet Wala Love’ and ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’. She has also featured ‘Fitoor’, ‘Baar Baar Dekho’, ‘Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh’, and ‘Dabangg 3’. She film and featured in ‘Pyaar Ho Jaayega’, ‘Nainon Ka Ye Rona’ and ‘Tu Baithe Mere Samne’.
