New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday hit out at the Narendra Modi government for calling free education a "freebie". CM Kejriwal has said that education is free in rich countries. I feel very sad that these leaders call free education a freebie in our country. These countries became rich because they provide free education. If every Indian has to be made rich, every child in India has to be given good education free of cost.

Further Arvind Kejriwal said that free education and treatment can be arranged in 5 years. Kejriwal said that I want to propose to the central government that you keep politics aside and use our services. We, you and 130 crore people of the country together will fix the schools of the country. It should not be called a freebie. He said that giving good education is not a freebie.
