New Delhi: PM Modi has attacked the opposition over the uproar in Parliament at a meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Parliamentary Party. Before the parliament meeting began, PM Modi said the opposition is not allowing both the Houses to function. PM Modi further said that it is necessary to bring this mindset of the opposition to the public. At the same time, PM Modi presented a roadmap for the 75th anniversary of independence from MPs.

Today, opposition Lawmakers once raised slogans in the Upper House to discuss the Pegasus espionage report, after which the House was adjourned till 12 noon. The Lok Sabha is also in the midst of opposition uproar over the issue. The House was adjourned till 11:45 pm amid sloganeering by opposition MPs in the Lok Sabha.  Earlier yesterday, members of opposition parties had created a ruckus in the House over various issues including the pegasus espionage case, three central agricultural laws. Tell you that the Lok Sabha had to be adjourned three times amid the uproar. Even then, when the uproar among opposition MPs did not subside, its proceedings were postponed for the day.

In the first week of this monsoon session, the House was mostly disrupted on these issues. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla told the opposition, "The government wants to respond to you. But you are constantly shouting slogans. Here the public has chosen and sent you. Issues of public interest should be raised. But you don't want to listen to the Government."
