There are many rituals for marriage. There are also some traditions without which marriage is not considered valid. Even today, we are going to tell about one such tradition where if you want a girl for marriage, you will have to do a dangerous work before that only after that you can ask any girl for marriage.

Actually, there is a similar tradition in Tabua in Fiji where the boy has to bring a whale fish tooth for marriage, failing which the girl is not given to the boy. You already know about the whale that it is the biggest and most dangerous fish living in the water, whose tooth has to be brought to the girl's father.

Not everyone knows how to do this, the one who has the courage can do it and does it too. People are following this tradition known as Tabua even today. This tradition signifies that the boys belong to affluent families.
