New Delhi: The Income Tax Department is conducting raids at the premises of Uflex Limited. The department is conducting searches at 64 locations of the company across the country on Tuesday (February 21). The searches are being conducted in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh.
According to the report, packaging company Uflex is accused of sending money to China through hawala and cryptocurrency. Along with this, the Income Tax Department has also received information about major manipulation in transactions in the company. As soon as the income tax authorities started the action, the entry of Uflex employees into the company has been banned. According to media reports, the income tax department's raids are going on simultaneously at about 64 locations in 15 cities.
This action is being taken against the company and the directors of the company. Uflex Limited company has a large business in the container and packaging sector across the country. Income Tax officials are conducting searches at the company's headquarters in Delhi, Noida, Mumbai, Jammu, Chennai, Dehradun, Kolkata, Himachal, and Faridabad in Haryana.
