Etawah: A young man has committed suicide by hanging himself in the Civil Line area of Etawah in Uttar Pradesh. 28th Corps PAC sub-army hero Nishant Sharma said on Monday that Trainee Jawan Deshraj (24) ended his life by hanging himself in the bathroom of his barrack on Sunday night. The reason for suicide has not been revealed yet. Police is investigating the case.

He told that Deshraj was very calm and had no dispute with anyone. As soon as the information about Deshraj was found hanging in the bathroom of his barrack, there was a stir in the PAC. He said that the deceased jawan was a resident of Ata Rasulpur village under the Kheda area of Agra. Senior Superintendent of Police and PAC commanders rushed to the spot after getting thinking. A few hours before the suicide, Deshraj spoke to his father and the father asked about the boy seen for his sister's marriage.

He said that it is clear that there was no problem on behalf of the Deshraj family, then why he committed suicide would be known only after a thorough investigation. Deshraj's father Gopichandra works as a laborer, the younger brother is a graduate studying in Delhi and his sister is studying B.Ed. Deshraj was the only one in the family. Desharaj, who was admitted to the PAC in 2018, was completing training on 16 December.
