After filing his nomination papers for the Upper House, he said, "I have filed my nomination as an independent candidate. I have always wanted to be a free voice in the country. We (opposition) want to form an alliance so that we can fight the Modi government firmly. '
Kapil Sibal, a lawyer by profession, further said, "I am thankful to Akhilesh Yadav ji. We and many more are coming together for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. We will highlight the shortcomings of the central government before 2024. Everyone will put their views before the public. '
