Jabalpur: A minor girl was allegedly raped by three youths in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur district, police said on Sunday. The incident took place on Sunday (January 15) evening. The family had lodged a complaint that the girl was made to sit on a motorcycle by a youth known to the family to take her to her aunt's house in the evening. After this, he took her to the forest and raped the girl along with his two other accomplices. Recording the victim's statement, the police launched a search for the accused. All three accused have been arrested this morning.
Bargi City Superintendent of Police (SP) Priyanka Shukla has said that Pancham Thakur and his two friends Bala and Brijesh Thakur have been arrested in connection with the gang-rape of a minor girl in the tribal village of Chargawan. The three accused were taking the girl on a bike to drop her at her aunt's house on Sunday. On the way, these three gang-raped her in a forest. Later left her at her aunt's house. The girl returned home at night and informed her family members about the incident. The accused Pancham used to visit the victim's house regularly.
