As per the latest reports, Jagapathi Babu will be seen playing a negative role in the upcoming Bollywood film 'Pukar' directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The film stars Farhan Akhtar in the lead role, and Rakul Preet Singh shares screen space with him as the female lead in the film.Farhan's father Javed Akhtar is reportedly writing the script for the film, which will talk about the 'persistence of the jungle'. Farhan will be seen in the role of a forest ranger in the film.

Tollywood actor Jagapathi Babu, who played a family hero to villain in 'Legend', has since played several important roles in various Telugu films as a character artist, antagonist and other notable roles.
