Touch the song, make me immortal. By listening to this ghazal song, you will remember a person who has left a memory in everyone's heart with the magic of his voice. We are talking about Ghazal singer Jagjit Singh. Jagjit Singh's name in Ghazal singing is not an introduction. Not only did he spread the magic of his voice in the country, but there has been no shortage of his fans abroad. He continued to leave indelible impressions on the hearts of the audience for four decades from Ghazal singing. Jagjit Singh was born on 8 February 1941 in Sriganganagar, Rajasthan.

As a child, he was called Jagmohan, but at the behest of his father, he named him Jagjit Singh, who became notable in singing ghazals. He was interested in music since childhood. He studied music from Ustad Jamal Khan and Pandit Chhaganlal Sharma. During 1965, he stepped on the soil of Mumbai, but he did not get much success in the early stages as he got a chance to sing jingles in advertising films. He met Chitra Dutta during the jingling song, later he married Chitra.

After this, both of them started spreading their magic, which continued till their age. The singing ghazals of Jagjit Singh and Chitra Singh dissolve in the ears.
