Development driver Vincent Radermecker piloted the XE SV Project 8 to an astonishing lap time of 7 minutes 18.361 seconds, securing its place as the fastest in its class.
The XE SV Project 8, a high-performance variant of the Jaguar XE sedan, boasts a mighty 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine that generates an impressive 592 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Combined with a 6-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive, the car delivers a thrilling driving experience.
Surpassing the previous record holder, the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S, by an impressive 2.9 seconds, the XE SV Project 8's accomplishment solidifies its position as the ultimate four-door production car to conquer the Nürburgring.

During the record-setting lap, the XE SV Project 8 featured production-specification components with a few enhancements, including Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires and a roll cage. This limited-edition masterpiece is available exclusively in left-hand drive and carries a price tag of £150,000 in the UK and $185,000 in the US, further amplifying its exclusivity.
