Srinagar: Three encounters broke out between the security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Dooru Shahabad in Anantnag district, Noorbagh in Srinagar city, and Chadoora in Budgam early on Thursday.

Following the Exchange of firing between the security personnel and terrorists in the encounter at Dooru Shahabad in Anantnag, one terrorist has been gunned down by the security forces.

The firing has at present stopped and a search operation is in progress, According to reports. Reports also suggested that two more terrorists could be present in the area. The forces had launched a barricade and search operation after getting a information that the terrorists could be present in the area. The encounter broke out after the rebellious opened fire on the security forces. Meanwhile, internet services have been cancelled in the area for the short term.

Talking about the Panzan area in Budgam's Chadoora, so an encounter was underway between security forces and terrorists who were hiding in a village. It is believed that three terrorists could be stranded in the area.

On the other hand in an encounter at Srinagar city's Noorbagh area, the two terrorists were believed to be trapped there. Reports said that a civilian had died in the exchange of fire between security personnel and terrorists. Taking a precautionary measure, the authorities have also suspended internet services here.
