Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) administration has taken decisive action by terminating the services of four government employees suspected of involvement in anti-national activities and alleged links with terror outfits.

Among those terminated are two police constables, a teacher, and an employee of the Jal Sakti department, all of whom are believed to have connections with terror groups operating in the region.

This move follows a similar action taken by the Jammu and Kashmir government last year when services of four government employees were terminated due to their alleged involvement in terror activities. Among them were a doctor, a police constable, a teacher, and a lab bearer in the higher education department.

The decision to terminate the services of these individuals was made under sub-clause (c) of the proviso to clause (2) of Article 311 of the Constitution of India. This provision empowers the government to take necessary actions in the interest of national security.

The termination of these employees underscores the administration's commitment to maintaining peace and security in the region, while also sending a clear message that any involvement in activities detrimental to national interests will not be tolerated.
