Jammu: All administrative secretaries of the state will work from the Srinagar Secretariat from August 24 to September 25, on the orders of Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Due to this, the Lieutenant Governor will discuss with the administrative secretaries at the department level. In this connection, General Administrative Department Secretary Manoj Kumar Dwivedi issued this order on Monday.

In view of the presence of secretaries of all administrative departments in Srinagar from 24 August to 25 September, the roster has also been revised due to arrangements made for the administrative secretaries. This decision has been taken in view of the same corona.

On the other hand, there is a steady increase in corona cases in the state. In the meantime, less than 60 thousand coronavirus cases have been reported in the country for the second consecutive day and during this time around nine lakh sample tests have been done. According to the latest data released by the Health Ministry, 55 thousand 079 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours and 876 people have died. During this, eight lakh 99 thousand 864 sample tests were conducted. According to the Ministry of Health, 27 lakh two thousand 743 cases of corona have been reported so far in the country. Out of these, lakh lakh 73 thousand 166 are active cases. 19 lakh 77 thousand 780 patients have been cured and 51 thousand 797 people have died. The recovery rate is 73.18 percent and the death rate is 1.92 percent.
