Srinagar: The body of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader was found hanging from a tree under mysterious circumstances in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua. After this, there was chaos in the area. The case is from Hiranagar in Kathua. The BJP leader was missing for three days. Now after the body was found, the police registered a case and started investigating. At the same time, the family of the BJP leader has expressed the possibility of murder.  

BJP leader Som Raj's body was found hanging from a tree in Hiranagar in the Kathua district. He had been missing for three days. The police have formed an SIT to probe the case. Along with this, a board of 4 doctors has been formed for post-mortem. Kathua SSP RC Kotwal said that the investigation is going on. The cause of death is being ascertained. Som Raj's body was found hanging from a tree some distance away from his house at Hiranagar in Kathua, police said. A villager spotted the body and informed the police. Police have sent the body to a hospital for post-mortem. Blood stains were found on the body, he said.

Som Raj's family has alleged that he was murdered. They have demanded justice from the government. At the same time, many BJP leaders who reached Som Raj's house have demanded an inquiry into his death. Sources said Som Raj was missing for the last three days.
