NEW DELHI: The Jammu and Kashmir reorganisation Bill was introduced in the Lower House of Parliament on Tuesday. As expected, there was a heated debate on the bill in favour. During these debates, Jamyang Sering Namgyal, the only young BJP MP from Ladakh, drew the attention of everyone from his speech. His speech has received a lot of praise. Speaking in the Lok Sabha, the MP termed the scrapping of Article 370 as a golden era in Kashmir. During this time, Sering criticised Congress to ignore Ladakh.

He accused the Congress of misusing Article 370. He accused the Congress government of ignoring the interests of Ladakh. Sering attacked the Congress saying that the UPA government gave Kashmir a Central University in 2011, gave Jammu a Central University, but when we demanded a Central University in Ladakh, we did not get it. Prime Minister Modi recently gave us a university because 'If Modi is there then anything is possible'.

He questioned the Congress' secularism love over the atrocities on Kashmiri Pandits. Attacking the NC and the PDP, BJP MP Jamyang Sering says, they do not want to participate in panchayat elections, but when it comes to their chair, they come first.
