New Delhi:Former External Affairs Minister and BJP's leader Sushma Swaraj. He passed away late on Tuesday at the age of 67 at AIIMS in Delhi. She will be cremated at 3 pm today. She was a great politician who made proud to India on the global platforms.

however, Her parents belonged to Lahore, Pakistan, who later settled in Ambala, Haryana. Father Hardev Sharma was a famous member of the RSS Sangh. So he had the knowledge of the Sangh school to meet him at home. He studied at Sanatan Dharma College in Ambala Cantt in Sanskrit and Political Science and then got a law from Punjab University in Chandigarh. Sushma's speaking skills were such that she won the Best Hindi Speaker award for three consecutive years in the competition of the Language Department of Haryana.

According to media reports, Sushma met Swaraj Kaushal during her law studies. The love story of the two started from college. Sushma has also been a Supreme Court lawyer and it was a time when it was a big deal for a girl in Haryana to think away from love marriage. Amazingly, Sushma was associated with the RSS and Swaraj's Kaushal follows socialist ideology.
