Jammu: In the country's state of Jammu and Kashmir, Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha will speak to the elected representatives of grassroots Democratic Institutions as part of a new exercise to increase public confidence. This will be the first public function of Manoj Sinha in Jammu and Kashmir after taking charge as Lt. Governor. In such a situation, in addition to political parties, administrative officers will also be specially monitored on his address.

The same will be held in SKICC, Srinagar on August 12 with direct discussions with elected representatives of panchayats and local bodies. Due to COVID-19 virus, a limited number of representatives of local bodies and panchayats have been called from Jammu division. Earlier, a sarpanch or BDC president from every block and two counselors from the municipal corporation were proposed to be called to the meeting. But now it has also been cut.

Also, Municipal Corporation Mayor Chandra Mohan Gupta said in his statement that the government has asked to send only one counselor, and he has nominated the name of Anil Kumar, counselor of ward number 68 of the municipal corporation. At the same time, about 14 BDC presidents from Jammu division will also go to attend the function. Anil Kumar told that he has been told that he reached Srinagar SKICC on 12 August. For this, all management will be available for them officially. Anil Kumar says that only he is going to this function from Jammu Municipal Corporation. With this, Manoj Sinha can discuss many issues.
