BJP stands firmly in Jammu and Kashmir DDC election, 38 seats lead

Srinagar: The counting of votes for the District Development Council election in Jammu and Kashmir has started from 9 am on Tuesday, 22 December. Among the early trends, the Bharatiya Janata Party has taken a good lead. According to the trends so far, the BJP is leading in 38 seats, while the Gupakar coalition leads in 34 seats.

At the same time, Congress seems to get 11 seats. While others have an edge over 20 seats. The National Conference, PDP and other parties have formed a secret alliance. In Verinag Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir Congress President GA. Mir Son Nasir Ahmad Mir has kept the lead. In Baramulla, Kupwara and Bandipora light, the Gupkar coalition is leading in eight seats, BJP four and independents three seats.

In the trend of 30 seats in the counting of votes released for the election of the District Development Council in Kashmir, the People's Alliance for Group Declaration leads in 11 seats, but the BJP is also showing its strong presence. On People's Alliance 11, BJP leads in 9 seats. Congress is leading in two, Jammu and Kashmir Party 3 and other 5 seats.
