Srinagar: A number of condoms and Viagra have been recovered from two terrorists killed during infiltration at Thanamandi in Rajouri in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Looking at the things received from the terrorists, it is said that the terrorists are now being sent to sexually exploit innocent women of Jammu and Kashmir. According to media reports, the top official of the security establishment confirmed that in the past, security forces have found condoms and condom packets used by terrorists killed in Kashmir.

The discovery of material such as sexually transmitted drugs shows that terrorists were also involved in the sexual abuse of women. Earlier last year also, a large quantity of condoms, Viagra, contraceptive pills and were recovered from the terror hideout in Shopian. According to news channels, 19 packets of condoms, 5 packets of Viagra tablets, 10 packets of, birth control pills, etc. were recovered from the hideout of terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed in Shopian. All of them were speculated that sexual terror was at its peak under the guise of 'jihad' in the name of Islam in Kashmir and that terrorists were sexually abusing Kashmiri women. Now, after 1 year, similar information has come to light once again.

In its statement on the encounter, the police had said that on August 6, 2021, the Jammu and Kashmir Police received input about the involvement of a group of terrorists in the common area of village Pangai. Then a joint search operation was launched by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir police. During the search, the joint team came in close contact with the terrorists after which they started firing at the search team, but the security forces gave a befitting reply. Two terrorists were killed during this period. Army has recovered two AK-47 rifles, four grenades, ammunition pouches, batteries, bandages, bullets, and other everyday items along with nine magazines and 232 rounds.
