Srinagar: Terrorist incidents in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir continues. In this sequence, security forces have killed two terrorists of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba in the encounter that started on Thursday evening in Anantnag district. Police said that arms and ammunition have been seized and the search operation is on.

It is being told that more terrorists are likely to be hidden. Firing began between security forces and militants in Sirhama, Anantnag on Thursday. While giving information in connection with this case, it has been reported by the local police that the terrorists were reported to be hiding in the Sirhama area of Anantnag. After this, the Jammu Kashmir Police, Army and CRPF jointly launched a search operation to find the terrorists.

On reaching the front of a house, the militants opened fire on the security forces, the officer said. After which the army personnel also retaliated. According to sources, two terrorists have been killed in the encounter so far. They are confirmed to be related to Lashkar-e-Taiba. 1 AK-47 and 1 INSAS rifle have been seized from them. One of them is a foreign terrorist. A search operation is on to locate the remaining terrorists.
