Encounter in Handwara of Jammu and Kashmir, 2 Lashkar terrorists killed

Srinagar: Army's operation against terrorists is going on in Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces have killed two terrorists of terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba in the encounter in Handwara. The statement released by the police said that two terrorists have been piled into the encounter in Handwara. The search operation is underway.

The statement said that Lashkar commander Naseeruddin Lone was killed in this encounter. He was involved in the slaughter of 3-3 soldiers in Sopore on 18 April this year and Handwara on 4 May. Both the terrorists killed in the Handwara encounter were responsible for the recent attacks on CRPF in North Kashmir, in which a local and a foreigner were killed. Earlier on Wednesday, there was an encounter between security forces and militants in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir.

This encounter took place in Molu Chitragam area of Shopian in South Kashmir. The security forces had killed a terrorist in the encounter. Earlier on Tuesday, security forces avenged the murder of BJP leader Wasim Bari. Security forces killed Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Usman Bhai in an encounter in Baramulla. Usman was involved in the murder of Bhai Wasim Bari, his father and brother. In this encounter, three terrorists of security forces were killed.
