"Oasis" is a melodrama that takes place in a chaotic Korea in the 1980s and 1990s and tells the tale of three young adults who fiercely sacrifice everything to safeguard their goals, friendships, and their once-in-a-lifetime first love. Jang Dong Yoon, Seol In Ah, and Choo Young Woo were cast by KBS.

Jang Dong Yoon, a "popular" actor who blends acting prowess with celebrity, plays Lee Doo Hak, a poor man with a sharper soul and mind than anybody else. He embraces a genuine love tale when he meets Oh Jeong Jin, a transfer student from Seoul, and instantly falls in love. It conveys the idea of a young man with a fiery personality who must deal with the upheaval of life after becoming involved in an unforeseen incident.

With roles in films and dramas like "School 2017," "Battle of Nokdu," and "Search," Jang Dong Yoon broadens his range as an actor. Leading international film festivals, like the 47th Toronto International Picture Festival and the 55th Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival, officially invited him to screen his most recent film, "Project Wolf Hunting."

Oh Jeong Jin is portrayed by Seol In Ah as having the courage to stand up to injustices and move quickly toward her goals. She creates priceless memories of her school years after moving to Seoul and becoming the only daughter by developing a close connection and new love with Lee Doo Hak and Choi Cheol Woong.

It is anticipated that Seol In Ah, who won over fans all over the world by flawlessly portraying the fearless yet attractive character in "Business Proposal," would demonstrate the charm she will exhibit through the "Oh Jeong Jin" character of "Oasis." Also fueling hopes for their chemistry is the fact that Jang Dong-yoon and Seol In Ah will reconnect in a KBS drama after nearly 5 years since "School 2017."

Choo Young Woo, a recent arrival who has been popular among the younger generation, plays Choi Chul Woong, a boyhood buddy of Lee Doo Gwa and a rival of fate. He is a member of the elite who consistently finishes first in his entire school and who can't bear to lose. Despite having everything, he is unable to win any girls' hearts.
