Deepika Padukone won the hearts of the audience with her dance in Ghoomar song from Padmavaat. The song was loved by the audience and also nominated for the Best Singer- Female and Best Song category. The epic song showcases the traditional moves which were perfectly performed by Deepika. At the award ceremony, it wasn’t Deepika who performed the song, but Janhvi Kapoor.

Janhvi got a chance to show her dance moves to a number of songs including Stree’s Kamariya and Padmaavat’s Ghoomar. While everyone loved her performance, Janhvi took to Instagram to share a video in which she can be seen dancing on the epic song from Padmaavat and actually trying to do over Deepika’s moves from the song. Janhvi was seen dancing in a skirt and blouse and she surely managed to keep the audiences hooked till the end.

On the work front, Janhvi is gearing up to step into the shoes of Gunjan Saxena who was the first female pilot in Indian Air Force. She will be taking flying lessons at the Indore Flying club for the same. In the film, Pankaj Tripathi will be playing Janhvi’s father, while Angad Bedi will be playing her brother. Janhvi will be seen in Karan Johar’s Takht starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor.
