New Delhi: The festival of Krishna Janmashtami is also being celebrated with great enthusiasm and pomp. However, due to COVID-19, people have issued priority to celebrate at home. However, the temples were decorated and devotees appeared in many temples for worship. Due to COVID, people were not allowed to enter the temples, but there was no shortage of enthusiasm. Worship was also done in the ISKCON temple in Delhi.

A crowd of people must have seen on Krishna Janmashtami in Amritsar. People had masks on their faces. On the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, PM Narendra Modi greeted the citizen of the country with the mantra 'Shri Krishna'. The PM tweeted and said,' Good luck on Janmashtami'. 'Hail Lord Krishna'. CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan of Madhya Pradesh celebrated the festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami with his wife. Both are going to worshiping at the Lakshmi Narayan temple in Bhopal.

Apart from PM Narendra Modi, President Ramnath Kovind wished people on Janmashtami. He addressed that the teachings of Lord Krishna are clear in the midst of the epidemic among the COVID warriors of India. The festival of Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated in every part of the country. Himachal Pradesh Governor Bandaru Dattatreya and CM Jairam Thakur also greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami.
