You all know that every year in Hinduism, the birth anniversary of Krishna is celebrated as a festival. Krishna, the eighth son of Vasudeva and Devaki, was born to the Ashtami of Bhadrapad Krishna paksha. This is why Krishna Janmashtva is celebrated as Janmashtami.

This time Krishna Janmashtami is scheduled to be celebrated on Saturday, the 24th of August. It is said that on the day of Janmashtami, the temples are adorned with the adornment of Lord Krishna and the place is decorated with chandeliments. At the same time, Lord Krishna's hair form is swinged to the swing and is very auspicious. On this day, men and women observe Janmashtami fast and celebrate the birth of Krishna at 12 o'clock in the night.

How did Shri Krishna end Shakatasur and how he had found salvation

When Lord Krishna was three months old, his mother Yasoda went to take him to a bed in a courtyard and bathe in the river Yamuna. When she returned, the bed was broken and Lord Krishna was not from bed. When she went inside the house and saw that Lord Krishna was sleeping there on the bed. When Yasoda went to take a bath with Krishna, Kansa sent a demon named Shakatasun to kill Krishna. He was very happy to see the demon Lord Krishna in sleep and began to demonstrate his power over them. As soon as he ran to kill Krishna, he hurled the demon into the air and fell to the ground and killed him.As Krishna killed Shaktasur he attained salvation.
