Tokyo: Another Indian on the Diamond Princess cruise ship, standing at the port of Yokohama, Japan, has been confirmed to have been infected with the Corona virus. In this way, a total of three Indians have been infected so far. All are crew members of the ship. At the same time, it has been learned that the Indian Embassy in Japan reported on Friday, 14 February 2020, that so far 218 people present in the cruise have been infected with this virus, which is undergoing treatment in various hospitals.

It has been learned that in the meantime, the elderly passengers who are on board the test negatives have been allowed to go home slowly. The batch of 11 such elderly passengers was dispatched by a bus with black glass on Friday, 14 February 2020. Last month, a Hong Kong passenger landed on this cruise. He was later confirmed to be infected with the Corona virus. Keeping this in mind, when this cruise reached Japan on February 5, no one was allowed to take off from it. Its 14-day isolation period ends on 19 February 2020. There were a total of 3711 people, including crew and passengers. There are 138 Indians among them.

Around 1500 deaths due to coronavirus : It is also being said that the number of people who lost their lives due to corona virus infection in China has reached close to 1500. Most of the deaths occurred in Hubei province. Health officials said on Friday that about 65 thousand people have been infected with the virus across the country. Six health workers engaged in the care of infected patients have also lost their lives. 1,700 health shortages are also infected with the virus. According to the provincial health commission, 4,823 new cases of corona virus were reported in Hubei on Thursday and 116 people died. A record 242 people died of this deadly corona virus in Hubei province a day earlier.
