New Delhi: While many hospitals in India are facing oxygen shortages, Japan, an important friend of India, has extended a helping hand to India. At the same time, Japan has joined a group of nations that are helping India in the brunt of the corona epidemic by sending oxygen concentraters and ventilators to India.

Japanese Ambassador to India Satoshi Suzuki informed on Friday that his country will send 300 oxygen generators and several ventilators to India, which is currently being linked to the second wave of the COVID-19 epidemic. On Twitter, Suzuki said Japan stands by India in times of its biggest need. He said "Japan stands by India in times of need. We have decided to proceed with the process of sending 300 oxygen generators and 300 ventilators".

State that the total number of infected cases in India has gone up to 1,87,62,976 in the last 24 hours after 3,86,452 new corona cases were reported. The total number of deaths after 3,498 new deaths has gone up to 2,08,330. The total number of active cases in the country is 31,70,228 and the total number of discharged cases is 1,53,84,418.
