Pune: Team India's fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is close to becoming the highest wicket taker for India in T20 International. Bumrah can achieve this feat in the match played between India and Sri Lanka on Friday. Bumrah is currently joint first with 52 wickets with Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal.

Bumrah has taken a total of 52 wickets in 44 matches. Chahal has taken 36 wickets and Ashwin has taken so many wickets in 46 matches. 26-year-old Bumrah is returning from injury after a long time. In the second T20 match played in Indore, Bumrah returned from injury and played his first match. His performance in this match was mixed. He took one wicket for 32 runs in four overs.

India and Sri Lanka teams will be face to face for the third and final T20 match in Pune on Friday. The first match played in Guwahati was canceled due to rain and wet pitch, while in the second match played in Indore, India took a one-sided victory and took a 1-0 lead in the series. The match will be played at Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium from 7 pm.
