April 29 and 30 were two days of great tragedy for Bollywood. On 29th April, actor Irrfan Khan embraced death, while on 30th April, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor said goodbye to the world. Bollywood has expressed grief over the death of Rishi Kapoor. Lyricist Javed Akhtar also expressed grief over his friend's demise.

Goodbye, dear friend !!"  Rishi and Javed's friendship started when Rishi Kapoor was in Bangalore in 1973 and Javed was also present there for the shooting of Sholay. Javed congratulated him for Bobby's success and then also mentioned the success of his films Yaadon Ki Baaraat, Zanjeer.

Javed said at that time "Hathi Ki Safai movie will be a big hit". After this meeting, both became good friends and after Rishi Kapoor's demise, Javed Akhtar remembers him and wishing for his good afterlife.
