New Delhi: In the national capital's Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), two meetings are to be held today as part of the ongoing student protest regarding the fee hike. The meeting of student representatives is to be held at 10.30 am today in JNU. There will be a meeting of the presidents of all the hostels of JNU at 3 pm. At the same time, Jawaharlal Nehru University Student Union is also to meet with the High Power Committee formed by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

This meeting will also be held at 10.30 am. In the JNU (JNU) protest case, Delhi Police has filed an FIR against unknown people for breaking section 144. Police also registered a case in Kishangarh police station. In this protest, 30 Delhi Police personnel and 15 JNU students were injured. On Monday (November 18) against the fees hike, JNU students had marched to Parliament.

During this time, the police had made tremendous security arrangements to stop the students' march. Section 144 was imposed outside the JNU campus and barricades were also installed at the university gate. But the students came out of the university and started marching towards Parliament. Protests by the students led to heavy jam situation in areas near Safdarjung Hospital, Aurobindo Marg, AIIMS and Safdarjung Tomb.
